Rovover

Driven to protect you

At ROBOVER, our “Driven to deliver” slogan applies not only to our products, but to the industry-leading service we provide as well. We are “driven to protect you” with our 10 years warranty.

ALL ROBOVER INSULATING GLASS UNITS ARE GUARANTEED FOR 10 YEARS FROM THE DATE OF FABRICATION AGAINST THE FORMATION OF A FILM OR DUST DEPOSIT ON THE INNER SURFACE OF THE UNIT DUE TO SEAL FAILURE (NOT GLASS BREAKAGE), TO THE EXTENT THAT VISION IS APPRECIABLY OBSTRUCTED.

THIS WARRANTY IS EFFECTIVE PROVIDED THAT:

A - Installation was performed in compliance with I.G.M.A. instructions (TM-3000-90 (04))
B - The unit has not been improperly handled
C - The unit has not been subjected to physical or thermal stress
D - Conditions of sale have been respected

Our responsibility is limited to the replacement (not the installation costs) of a new unit delivered to our distributor’s warehouse in exchange for the defective unit.

Thermal stress

To minimize thermal stress and the risks of breakage, we recommend ensuring adequate air circulation on the inside glass pane. Shades, draperies, curtains and other coverings should not be kept closed in cold weather. To avoid concentrations of heat on the glass, it should be free of cardboard, paper, or any other decorative materials. Application of coatings or films after installation will void the warranty. Heating systems should be placed at a minimum of 50 mm (2") from glass and directed away from it. The above recommendations are especially important for tinted or patterned glass, which are more sensitive to solar heat than clear glass. Make sure installation instructions are closely followed.

Condensation

Condensation on the surface of the glass pane inside the room is caused by ambient humidity, which must be regulated according to the exterior temperature. Humidity levels vary depending on activities and the number of persons occupying the room. It is recommended to keep the humidity level low during the cold season.

IMPORTANT

We suggest that your insurance policy include the replacement of broken glass.
