Low-E Glass

Year-Round Comfort

ROBOVER uses Sungate® 400 Low-E glass to manufacture insulating glass units because it strikes the perfect balance between energy efficiency and interior comfort in cooler climates.

Robover uses Sungate® 400 Low-E glass to manufacture insulating glass units because it strikes the perfect balance between energy efficiency and interior comfort in cooler climates. Windows made with Sungate® 400 Low-E glass enhance your comfort in more ways than one, keeping you warmer on chilly winter nights and cooler during the hottest days of summer. What’s more, it provides the benefits of natural light while reducing energy costs.

Thermal Resistance
The R-value is a measure of thermal resistance that indicates insulation performance. The higher the value, the more effectively heat and cold are blocked.

Solar Gain
The solar heat gain coefficient of an insulating glass unit made with Sungate 400® Low-E glass is only 10% less than an insulating glass unit made with clear glass. The special coat of the Sungate® 400 Low-E glass makes it ideal for cooler climates, retaining heat and lowering heating costs.

Visible Light
Sungate® 400 Low-E glass has the look of traditional glass inside and out. An insulating glass unit made with Sungate 400® Low-E glass transmits about 97% of the visible light transmitted by an insulating glass unit made with clear glass.
